The learned counsel submits that the petitioner has filed an application under section 28-A for passing revised award under section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act in March, 2020. The same is not yet decided.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader appears for respondent No. 1.

It appears that initially, the S.L.A.O. has decided the application of the petitioner under section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act as per the compromise arrived at Maha Lok Adalat. Thereafter, as per the order of the High Court, the matter was remitted before the Civil Judge, Senior Division, Jalgaon. The Civil Judge, Senior Division, Jalgaon has granted the enhanced compensation amount. Thereafter, the petitioners have filed

application seeking revised Award under section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act.

In case the application filed by the petitioners for passing revised award under section 28-A (Page 61) is pending with respondent No.1, then respondent No. 1 shall decide the same on its own merits in accordance with law after hearing all the parties concerned and considering all aspects of the matter including the maintainability of the application expeditiously and preferably within a period of nine (9) months. 5.
Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
