Ms. Reddy, learned Advocate for appellant has circulated this matter for extension of time to deposit the amount as directed vide the order dated 13/09/2025 passed in Lok Adalat, wherein the appellant/Corporation was directed to deposit the balance amount within a period of eight weeks.

Ms Reddy submits that due to certain unavoidable circumstances, the appellant/Corporation could not deposit the said amount within a period of eight weeks. She further submits that, since
1559.10fa (2) delay of 21 days is caused in depositing the said amount, extension of time to deposit the said amount may be granted. She further submits that today she is having cheque for depositing the said balance amount and if this Court permits, she is ready to deposit the same within a period of two days from today.

In view of the above, the amount as directed vide the order dated 13/09/2025 passed in Lok Adalat shall be deposited by the appellant in this Court within a period of one week from today. Delay caused in depositing amount is condoned. Extension of time of one week is granted from today. After depositing the said amount, the respondents herein are entitled to withdraw the said amount.
