Having considered the petition and the documents filed therewith, we find that the prayer made in this petition seeking appropriate disciplinary action against the Talathi/Circle Officer is wholly misdirected for the reason that the root cause of the grievance of the petitioner is violation of status quo order issued by the Court of Joint Civil Judge Senior Division, Jalgaon on 13.09.2024. The petitioner alleges that, despite the status quo order, the contesting parties therein executed a registered sale deed, which ultimately led to the impugned mutation entries.

We fail to understand as to how seeking disciplinary action against the revenue officer would be of any consequence to the petitioner, so long as the alleged violation of the status quo order is not brought to the notice of the concerned Civil Court and appropriate remedial steps are not immediately taken by the petitioner in that regard.

In view of the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed, with liberty to the petitioner to take such steps as may be permissible in law in the context of the alleged violation of the aforesaid status quo order. (Y. G. KHOBRAGADE, J.) (MANISH PITALE, J.) Jhs/ 2/2
