Learned Senior advocate Mr. Deshmukh for the petitioners from both the Writ Petitions submits that they had approached this Court against the interim order passed by the Collector in a disqualification proceeding under Section 3(A) of the Maharashtra Local Authority Members, Disqualification Act, 1986. However, in spite of filing of the Writ Petition, 1/2

946 and 949.wp.7684.22.odt the Collector has proceeded to decide the objections finally. He, therefore, submits that the petitioners in Writ Petition No.7684/2022 does not press Civil Application No.10907/2022 and even on instructions seeks leave to withdraw the Writ Petitions with liberty to avail appropriate remedy for challenging final order itself.

Leave is granted.

The Writ Petitions are dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
