Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner. According to him, the information sought by him under the provisions of Right to Information Act and rules framed thereunder is not supplied to him. 2.

The petitioner has sought information as regards entry 'vihir' (well) mutated some time in prior to 1970. He wants the source from revenue authorities about mutation of such entry in the revenue record.

The revenue authorities have supplied him the relevant information about the entry to that effect taken i.e. 7/12 extract. 4.

No doubt, the appellate authority has taken into account the grievance of the petitioner and has given finding that appropriate remedy for the petitioner is available with him to that effect. 5.

From the submission of learned Counsel for the petitioner, it appears that for settling their individual dispute after partition of land, the petitioner intends to use the said information. 6.

So far as the information as sought for is concerned, as regards the source of entry in the revenue record, in my opinion, the authorities were right in dealing with the said issue. No interference is made out. The writ petition fails, stands dismissed. 7.
