The Petitioner first secured employment in the Nashik Zilla Parishad. From Nashik, he got himself transferred through the inter district process and came to Dharashiv. From 14.08.2014, he was at Nashik. On 15.03.2024, with effect from 12.03.2024, the Petitioner was posted at Wakwad Tq. Bhoom District Dharashiv, as he had sought inter district transfer to Dharashiv. Immediately after joining, now the Petitioner wants a choice posting and submits that the present posting is not convenient.

We refuse to entertain such maters. We cannot monitor the entire transfer process of the Zilla parishad just because the Petitioner went on making applications, exploring possibilities for choice postings. A person is eligible to make an application only after

923wp7027-24 putting five years in a difficult area and ten years in a normal area. In such matters the High Court cannot issue a Writ of Mandamus within two months of the Petitioner's joining the posting at Dharashiv. 3.

If the Petitioner is eligible and desires a transfer, he is at liberty to move an online application as and when the portal would be opened and such application would be considered by the competent authority, depending upon his eligibility, at the relevant time. 4.
