Heard learned AGP for the Applicant.

These are the applications for condonation of delay of 1665 days caused in filing the first appeals. 3.
Perused the applications. For the reasons stated therein, the applications deserve to be allowed in the interest of justice as the delay is neither deliberate nor intentional. Hence the following order: ::ORDER::
a.
Civil Applications are allowed and disposed of. b.
The delay of 1665 days caused in filing the first appeals is condoned.
FIRST APPEALS 1.
Heard learned AGP for the appellant.

Learned AGP for the appellant pointed out that the S.L.A.O had granted compensation for the acquired land of the claimants at the rate of Rs.1,43,000/- per hectare i.e., Rs.14.13 per sq. meter, and the Reference Court has enhanced the compensation and granted it at
(( 3 )) 907 CA NO. 10987 OF 2013 the rate of Rs.5,43,000/- per hectare i.e., Rs.54 per sq. meter,. He submitted that, in view of the Government Resolution dated 03.11.2016 and the subsequent corrigendum dated 23.02.2017 and 13.08.2018, the State Government has resolved not to file or contest any appeal where the amount of compensation awarded by the Reference Court is within four times the amount awarded by the S.L.A.O. He further submitted that the First Appeals filed by the State Government deserve to be disposed of in view of the aforesaid policy decision, as the compensation awarded by the Reference Court is within four times.

Considering the submissions of the learned AGP and in view of the Government Resolution stated above, the appeals deserve to be disposed of as having no merits. The First Appeals are accordingly disposed of.
APPLICATIONS FOR STAY 1.
In view of the disposal of the First Appeals, the stay applications have become infructuous. The civil applications are accordingly disposed of.
