Learned Advocate appearing for petitioner submits that petitioner has filed appeal before Additional Collector at Jalgaon against order dated 11.04.2025 passed by Sub Divisional Officer, Jalgaon in RTS Appeal/87/2023.

Learned Additional Collector had passed interim order dated 29.04.2025, directing parties to maintain status-quo. It is contention of petitioner that despite status-quo order, change is caused in mutation record.

In aforesaid contingency, petitioner seeks indulgence of this Court and seeks direction for cancellation of mutation entry No.163, which is given effect in breach of status-quo order.

Since substantive appeal filed by petitioner is pending before learned Additional Collector Jalgaon, if petitioner is aggrieved by interim order dated 29.04.2025, it is expected that he would move before the same authority and seek relief of restoration of entries in record, as was prevailing as on date of passing of status-quo order.

In that view of the matter, writ petition stands disposed of with liberty in favour of petitioner to file appropriate application before Additional Collector Jalgaon seeking restoration of mutation record as on status-quo order dated 29.04.2025.

In case such application is already filed, learned Additional Collector shall consider the same and decide it within a period of six (06) weeks from today.
