It appears from the report submitted by the learned Judge of the Trial Court that the charge has now been framed against the Applicant and the case has been posted for recording of prosecution evidence. The learned counsel for Applicant, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw this application and submits that the Trial Court may be directed to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible. This Court by order dated 22nd August, 2016 in Criminal Application No.3717 of 2016 has granted the liberty to the Applicant to approach this Court again if the sessions case is not disposed of within a period of one year from the date of that order. However, it appears from the report submitted by the Trial Court that the other accused remained absconding and therefore, the charge could not be framed

It appears that now the Trial Court has framed the charge against the Applicant by video conferencing and posted the case for recording of the prosecution evidence. In view of the same, the Trial Court is hereby directed to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months from the date of this order. Leave granted. Criminal application is disposed of as withdrawn.
