IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

BENCH AT AURANGABAD WRIT PETITION NO. 6705 OF 2024 1.

NILKANTH BALAJI SHINDE

2. GANESH BALAJI SHINDE

VERSUS

SCHEDULED TRIBE CERTIFICATE SCRUTINY COMMITTEE THROUGH ITS MEMBER SECRETARY ...

Advocate for Petitioners : Mr. Phatale Sagar S AGP for Respondents/State : Mr. R.S. Wani ...

CORAM : MANGESH S. PATIL & SHAILESH P. BRAHME, JJ.

DATE : 3 JULY 2024 PER COURT :

.

Heard.

2.

The petitioners' proposals for verification of the tribe certificates are pending with the respondent/Scrutiny Committee for last ten months.

3.

Considering the fact that going by the genealogy (page no.27), there are several validity holders in the family in both the branches emanating from common ancestors, this coupled with the fact that even one of them Sanket Madhav Shinde was directed to be issued with a certificate of validity by the order of this Court, we dispose of the writ petition by directing the Scrutiny Committee to decide the petitioners' proposals as expeditiously as possible and in any case within four weeks.

The Committee may consider validity certificates conditional as has been done by this Court in the matter of Sanket Madhav Shinde. [ SHAILESH P. BRAHME, J.] [ MANGESH S. PATIL, J.] Najeeb..
