Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

This is an application for condonation of delay of 907 days caused in filing the first appeal.

The learned counsel for respondent No.2 strongly opposed the application and submitted that there is no sufficient reason to condone the delay.

On perusal of the application, it appears that the delay has not been deliberately caused. Therefore, in the interest of justice, the delay deserves to be condoned on certain conditions. For the reasons stated in the application, the delay stands

914.odt condoned. The application stands allowed in the interest of justice. The appeal be registered.

It is made clear that in case the amount of compensation is enhanced, the appellants shall not be entitled for the amount of interest for the delayed period.

Issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 16th December, 2025. Mr. M. R. Deshmukh, learned counsel waives notice for respondent No.2.
