The learned counsel for petitioners submits that, the petitioners have submitted application U/Sec. 28(A) of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (for short "L. A. Act") in July 2013. Same is not yet decided. The appeal filed by the acquiring body against the award passed by the Reference Court U/Sec. 18 of the L. A. Act is also disposed of.

We have also heard Mr. Rajale, the learned advocate for the respondent No. 3 and the learned Assistant Government Pleader.

In case the application is filed by petitioners U/Sec. 28(A) of the L. A. Act and if same is pending, then the authorities shall decide the same on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy, expeditiously and preferably within a period of seven (07) months from the date of appearance of the parties. The parties shall appear before the authority on 03.01.2019. 4.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
