In spite of our order dated 11.4.2018 passed in Writ Petition no.1024 of 2018, directing the Committee to decide validation proceeding in respect of caste claim of the petitioner within six months, the same is not yet decided. In fact, the members of the Committee have made themselves liable for action of contempt. 2.

We direct the Committee to decide the validation proceeding in respect of caste claim of the petitioner within a period of three months from today. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 5.9.2019. In case the Committee does not decide the validation proceeding within a period of three months from today, we would initiate action of contempt against the members of the Committee. 3.

The respondent no.4 shall not refrain the petitioner from prosecuting his studies in 4th year B. Pharmacy only on the ground that validity certificate is not submitted. In case, the caste claim of the

W.P.7733.19 petitioner is invalidated by the Committee, the petitioner shall pay full fees to the respondent no.4 - institution. An undertaking shall be given by the petitioner to respondent no.4 within one week from today. Depending upon the decision delivered in validation proceeding, further steps can be taken by respondents no.4 and 5. 4.
