20.06.2019 P.C. :- The members of the petitioner - union are employees of respondent no.3-corporation they are seeking benefit of Sixth Pay Commission from 01.01.2006 onwards as they have been given benefit from July 2013 onwards.

The benefit to be given is a part of a policy decision of the State. 3.

It is submitted that the respondent no.3 has already forwarded the proposal for applying the benefit of Sixth Pay Commission to its employees from 01.01.2006. According to the petitioner and respondent no.3 no decision is taken on it by the Government.

Considering the above in case the proposal is sent by respondent no.3 and pending with the respondent no.1 (13.07.2017 Exhibit-H) then the respondent no.1 shall take decision upon it in tune with its policy expeditiously preferably within nine months. Writ petition is disposed of. No costs. In case the decision is taken adverse to the petitioner then the petitioner may agitate the grievance afresh.
