Heard. This is an application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The applicant has been arrested in connection with Crime No.0178/2020, registered at Killari Police Station, District Latur for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 143, 147, 148, 149, 324, 323, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

The applicant is alleged to have given three stabs with a knife to the victim. All the co-accused have been granted bail. The applicant is in jail for about 23 months. It is informed that, the charge has not yet been framed. The victim has recovered of his injuries. The incident took place

on account of a dispute over field. It will take time for commencement and conclusion of the trial. The Court is, therefore, inclined to grant the applicant bail. Hence the order:- O R D E R (i) The Bail Application is allowed.

(ii) The applicant be released on bail in connection with Crime No.0178/2020, registered at Killari Police Station, District Latur for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 143, 147, 148, 149, 324, 323, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code on his executing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees fifteen thousand) with one surety in the like amount. This order of releasing the applicant on bail shall come into force w.e.f. 3rd November 2022.

(iii) The applicant shall not enter village Nanand, Taluka Nilanga, District Latur till conclusion of the trial. (iv) The applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence.
