The learned counsel for the petitioner on instruction seeks leave to withdraw this petition. The learned counsel, however, submits that the petitioner has filed another application for grant of furlough which is pending before D.I.G., Prison i.e. respondent No. 2 herein. The learned counsel seeks direction for early disposal of the said application by the respondent No. 2.

The learned APP submits that the petitioner's application is pending before the respondent No. 2 and the same will be disposed of at the earliest, preferably within a period of two weeks from today. 3.

In view of above, this Criminal Writ Petition is hereby dismissed as withdrawn.
