The Petitioners have put-forth prayer clauses 'B' and 'C', as under:- "B] To direct the respondents to decide the pending application u/sec.28 A filed by the petitioners within period of 4 weeks from the date of order and for that purpose necessary writ and orders may kindly be issued.

C] To direct the Respondent No. 6 to immediately forward the application if decided to the respondent no. 1 to 4 for sanctioning of funds as soon as possible

We have perused the grounds set out in the pending application filed by the Petitioners under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894. The same is said to be pending with Respondent No.6.

In view of the above, this Petition is disposed off with the following directions:- A] Respondent No.6 shall verify from the Inward Register as to whether the said application dated 29.04.2017 has been lodged by the Petitioners with the said authority.

B] Upon verifying the lodging of the application, the said respondent shall proceed to deal with the said application strictly in accordance with the procedure laid down in law and expeditiously.
