This is a classic case of the Petitioners seeking a validity certificate within 14 days, despite the fact that the proposal for seeking such validity certificates for "Koli Mahadev" Scheduled Tribe category, were moved in May 2025. 2.

The learned AGP strenuously opposes this Petition, contending that such pendency should be curbed. As it is, the Committee is under a burden of thousands of cases, as per the data placed before this Court in the last week in some matters.

(( 2 )) 924-WP-7645-2025 Hundreds of cases are under a time bound framework under orders of the High Court. Several districts are clubbed together under one Committee. Had the Petitioners' parents moved their proposals well in advance, this situation would not have arisen. It is impossible to deliver a decision in such matters even in two months. 3.

In view of the above, we would expect the Committee to look into these cases and make a serious endeavor to decide them as early as possible with the due cooperation of the Petitioners.
