The applicants, who are the original claimants in these applications are seeking withdrawal of balance 40 % amount of the deposited amount. The learned counsel for the applicants submits that 60 % amount of the compensation is already allowed to be withdrawn under the orders of this Court and considering the old age of applicants, the remaining amount can also be permitted to be withdrawn.

The learned AGP strongly opposed the applications on the ground that the Reference Court has granted exorbitant enhanced compensation which is 10 to 11 times of the compensation granted by the Special Land Acquisition Officer.

In view of the same and considering the facts, 60 % of the compensation amount has already been paid to the applicants, I am not inclined to grant any further withdrawal to safeguard the interest of the appellants. Accordingly both these applications stand rejected and disposed of.
