The petitioner has challenged the order passed on 30/04/2019, by which, the Additional Commissioner, Nashik Division, Nashik declined to entertain the RTS Revision filed by the petitioner for the reason that the amendment introduced vide sub-Section (4) to Section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, would enable the petitioner to approach the State by filing a revision.

I have perused the said amendment and the introduction of sub-section (4). The State Government is empowered to consider such a revision.

The learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that he would prefer his revision within one month and the time spent by the petitioner in this Court may be excused. 4.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to avail of the remedy under Section 257(4) of the MLR Code. The time spent by the petitioner in this Court from 24/06/2019 shall be a good ground for condonation of delay.
