ORAL ORDER :

Heard Mr. Gunale, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. Manale, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.4. Learned A.G.P. appears for respondent Nos.1 to 3. Though respondent Nos.5 and 6 are duly served, none appears for respondent Nos.5 and 6.

Learned counsel Mr. Manale invited our attention to the order of this Court dated 9.12.2017. He submits that, this

(( 2 )) Court directed the respondent No.4 to remain present before this Court on the next date. Accordingly, the respondent No.4 Shri S.K. Mingire, District Social Welfare Officer, Group A, Zilla Parishad, Latur is personally present in this Court today. Mr. Manale then submits that, in view of the instructions received by respondent No.4 who is present in this Court, the petition itself can be disposed of.

Mr. Manale submitted that, the grievance of the petitioner, who was appointed on the ground of compassionate appointment in place of his father on the post of Driver and though the petitioner worked for a considerable long period, no approval was granted to the petitioner. Learned counsel Mr. Manale submits that, a meeting was scheduled on 12.12.2017 of the District Level Committee under the Chairmanship of the District Collector, Latur for considering the appointment on compassionate ground. Subject of the petitioner's approval was also before the Committee and the Committee, in view of the Government Resolution dated 2.12.2015, as well as, in view of the proposal submitted by the institute, the Committee decided to appoint the petitioner on the post of Wahan Parichar, which was vacant post. Mr. Manale submits that, necessary formalities of issuing appointment order would be complied with as expeditiously as possible. Mr. Manale placed on record the copy

(( 3 )) of the minutes of the meeting dated 12.12.2017. The same is taken on record and marked "X" for identification. 4.

Mr. Gunale, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner fairly submits that, in view of the decision of the Committee, the grievance of the petitioner is redressed and nothing remains in the petition.

In view of the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as in view of the communication placed on record, the petition is disposed of.
