There is innocuous prayer in these petitions inasmuch as the petitioners have sought direction to respondent nos.1 and 2 to decide their pending applications/representations. In the circumstances, we direct respondent nos. 1 and 2 to take decision, if already not taken, on the pending applications/ representations submitted by the petitioners as expeditiously as possible; however, within six months from today, on their own merits without being influenced by the fact that this Court has given the above direction and communicate the decision so taken to the
