Looking at that the petitioner, who appears to be a truck owner, whose vehicle has been seized since 23.09.2016 and its fate appears to hinge around the appellate proceedings pending before appellate authority, the appellate authority to proceed with the appeal as expeditiously as possible and dispose of the same on its own merits, within fortnight from today.

With the above observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
