These matters are covered by an ordinance dated 10.07.2023, wherein, the Government has extended time to submit the Caste Validity Certificate by one year, in the cases where the members are elected to the Grampanchyat for the seats reserved from the reserved category.

The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners are working as a Members of Grampanchayat elected from the reserved

(2) 902wp6862.23 category, however, they could not submit the Caste Validity Certificates within a stipulated period and therefore, they were declared disqualified.

In view of the same, the impugned order dated 31.05.2023, passed by the learned Collector, Aurangabad is set aside. 4.

The Writ Petitions stand disposed off.
