Mr. S. S. Phatale, learned counsel for petitioner submits that, the validation proceeding in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner is

2 WP 8098-2017 pending with the committee. The petitioner is elected as president of the Municipal Council. The petitioner apprehends adverse action. 2.

We have heard Mr. S. B. Yawalkar, learned AGP. 3.

The respondent No.1 committee shall decide validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within six (6) months. 4.

The petitioner shall co-operate in expeditious disposal of the said proceedings.

In case, the respondents No.2 and 3 seek to take any adverse action against petitioner, on account of non submission of validity certificate, the petitioner can bring it to the notice of the authorities, the judgment of the Apex Court staying the judgment of Full Bench of this Court which certainly will have to be considered by the authority. 6.
