Mr. V. H. Dighe, learned counsel for the election authority submitted that, nothing survives in the present petition and the same be disposed of.

The learned counsel submits that for all the societies in which the voter lists were finalised between 08.06.2023 to 21.08.2023, the revised voters lists would be published and the

2 wp 6857.2023 cut of date for the publication of fresh provisional voters list is 01.10.2023.

The letter dated 06.10.2023 and the order of the election authority dated 03.10.2023 are taken on record and marked "X" for identification. 4.

Thus, the challenge raised in this petition does not survive. The writ petition stands disposed of.

Needless to mention, the parties would have liberty to raise all the objections before the concerned authority. In the event the objections are rejected, they would be at liberty to take steps as is available in law.
