This petition seeks limited relief of an appropriate direction to the respondent No.2 - Scrutiny Committee to decide the pending tribe claim of the petitioner within a stipulated period of time. 2.

It is brought to our notice that the petitioner is unable to enjoy service benefits as long as the validity certificate is awaited. 3.

The learned AGP appears on behalf of both the respondents and he submits that the vigilance enquiry is now at almost final stage. 4.

In that view of the matter, we dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent No.2 - Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within six months from today.
