Applicants seek to condone delay of 155 days caused in filing appeal under Section 30 of the Employees' Compensation Act, 1923. Applicants are original claimants and filed present appeal seeking enhancement of compensation.

Perusal of reasons from para Nos. 5 to 9 shows that delay has been occasioned on account of financial difficulties and proper legal advice.

Learned advocates for respondents vehemently oppose the application.
