In Writ Petition No.10651 of 2015, by the order dated 11.12.2019, a direction was given to the Trial Court to decide the Suit on or before 30.06.2020. Without there being any liberty granted to the parties to seek its extension, present Civil Application has been filed by the original writ petitioners seeking extension.

The prayer made in the Civil Application itself is ex facie not maintainable. For whatever reason, a time limit has been fixed by this Court for the Trial Court to decide the Suit. If it is not possible for the Trial Court to obey the direction, it is expected that the Trial Court itself moves for extension of time.

By way of this Civil Application, now it is being projected that the request for adjournment by the petitioner is being refused.
