Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the respondent-State.

The applicant is seeking bail in Crime No.97 of 2022, registered at Songir Police Station, District Dhule, for the offences punishable under Sections 15(C), 8(C), 27(A) and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act.
3. Admittedly, the applicant was not a registered owner of the vehicle in which the contraband were carried and present the vehicle. Nothing is seized from him. The prosecution has a case that there was a document of transfer of the vehicle in the name of the applicant. However, the vehicle was registered in the name of another person. The authenticity of the document
would be decided on merit during the course of the trial. The applicant was not in possession of the contraband. He has no antecedents to his discredit. The charge sheet has been filed. No purpose would be served keeping him behind bar. Hence, the following order :
O R D E R
(i) Bail Application is allowed.
(ii) Applicant BHAWARSING @ BHAVANISING GEBARAM RAJPUROHIT be released on bail on furnishing P.B. and S.B. of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) with one solvent surety of the like amount, in Crime No.97 of 2022, registered at Songir Police Station, District Dhule, for the offences punishable under Sections 15(C), 8(C), 27(A) and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, on the following conditions :
(a) The applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution witnesses.
(b) He shall attend the trial on each effective date.
(c) He shall not involve in a similar crime.
