In fact, the petitioner has approached the Court after long slumber. Though this issue is no longer res integra, we are not inclined to grant the actual benefit though the same may be notionally granted to the petitioner.

As the petitioner has approached late, we will not give actual monetary benefits to the petitioner till this date. However, after the respondents confirm that the petitioner was the District Awardee Teacher and was awarded certificate prior to 04.09.2018, then they shall notionally calculate the pension of the petitioner and the actual

2 143-WP-7900-2019 benefits should be given to the petitioner as per the present order from the date of this order.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
