The applicants are claiming that 50% amount of compensation alongwith the interest which was directed to be withdrawn by this Court under order dated 31.10.2018 by the applicants, be deposited in the bank account of one of the applicants i.e. Rohidas Atmaram Pawar. The learned Counsel for the applicants submits that the nationalized bank is saying that no joint account can be opened in the name of applicants more than three. However, there is no such impediment by the R.B.I. But the procedure of Nationalized Bank appears to be of opening joint account only to the extent of three applicants.

(2) 939 CA-8731.2023.odt However, under the direction of this Court the Bank can open the joint account in the names of persons more than three. As such, the State Bank of India, Branch at High Court, Jalna Road, Aurangabad is requested to open the joint account in the name of all these applicants - claimants. Thus, now there is no question of transferring the amount under withdrawal to the account of one of the applicants and therefore, the civil application stands disposed of.
