The grandmother of the petitioner passed away. He has already been granted 7 days parole leave. The permissible period of parole leave is of 14 days. For post funeral rituals, we are inclined to grant extension to the petitioner for further 7 days. Thus, the period of parole leave of the petitioner is extended for a period of further 7 days. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 3.
