IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

BENCH AT AURANGABAD WRIT PETITION NO. 143 OF 2017 (RBSK Contractual Medical Officer Union Through its President Vs. The State of Maharashtra and others) ---- Mr. Abhijit S. More, Advocate for the Petitioner Mr. A.R. Borulkar, A.G.P. for the respondents/State ---- CORAM :

V.M. KANADE AND SANGITRAO S. PATIL, JJ.

DATE : 9th January, 2017 PER COURT :

Heard.

2.

The grievance of the petitioner is that despite decision being taken by respondent no.3, making a proposal for regularisation in a phased manner and abolishing 600 posts, its representation has not been decided by the State Government. Since this is the only prayer being pressed by the petitioner at this stage, we are of the view that the petition can be disposed of by directing respondent nos. 1 and 2 to decide what they propose to do on the proposal given by respondent no.3. This decision will be taken within six weeks, if possible after giving hearing to the petitioner.

wp143-2017 3.

So far as other prayers in the petition are concerned, those are not pressed and all contentions in that regard are kept open.

4.

The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.
