I have heard learned counsel for the applicant for some time. Learned counsel for the applicant, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw this application. Learned counsel however, submits that the applicant is in jail in connection with the present crime since December, 2019. Learned counsel has also pointed out that the informant injured was discharged from the hospital on 6th day after the incident and now he is out of danger. Learned counsel submits that necessary direction may be given to the trial court for expeditious disposal of the case. 2.

Leave granted. Criminal application is dismissed as withdrawn. 3.

The trial court is hereby directed to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months from the date of this order on priority basis by giving day to day hearing, if possible.
