2.
The petitioner who had secured admission against a seat reserved for scheduled tribe category and has also completed four years degree course, is before us. The University is not issuing the marks memo and the degree certificate since he has not been able to produce tribe validity certificate.
3.
Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that for the time being petitioner would be seeking merely a direction to the respondent no. 2 - Scrutiny Committee, to consider and decide the petitioner's proposal on its own merits as expeditiously as possible.
4.
Learned AGP, on instructions, submits that the petitioner's matter is pending with the Vigilance Cell and the Committee would require another six months to decide it.
5.
Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's cousin's case is being decided by the respondent no. 2 - Scrutiny Committee and matter is listed before the Committee, today. 6.
Considering the exigency, even if the petitioner is to be blamed for the delay, taking into account his requirement of the marks memo and the degree certificate for pursuing further education, we direct the respondent no. 2 - Scrutiny Committee, to take final decision in the petitioner's matter as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of four (04) months from today. 7.
