Inspite of the order dated 11-10-2021 passed by this Court, the application is not made by the petitioner.

The petitioner may make an application to respondent No.3 for correction of date of birth in School record. Respondent No. 3 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of application shall forward it to the Education Officer (respondent No. 2). The Education Officer shall consider the application (proposal for changing the date of birth in the School record) and if respondent No. 2 is satisfied that the petitioner has made out a case of an obvious mistake then may entertain said proposal and pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (04) months from the date of receipt of such proposal.

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
