Heard the learned Advocate for the Petitioner and the learned A.G.P..

The learned A.G.P. tenders a sample form of the Scheduled Tribe Certificate i.e. Form "C", which is marked as 'X' for identification. He submits that, this is a new Format after 2016. The Petitioner's certificate is as per the old Format prior to the 2016. The said certificate cannot be taken utilized for grant of a validity certificate.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that, the Petitioner would surrender the original certificate dated 03/09/2016, to the concerned Sub Divisional Officer, Ambajogai, and would receive the certificate in the new Format "C". 4.

We direct that, if the Petitioner tenders the original certificate that he has, within a period of 10 days, the Sub Divisional Officer, Ambajogai will scrutinize the origin of the certificate and if there is no legal impediment, would issue a new certificate in the present Format "C", within a period of 10 days thereafter.

With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed off.
