In view of the order passed by this Court on 25th November 2022, the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that he has now filed appeal before the appropriate authority and would seek leave of this Court to withdraw this petition and permit him to proceed with the appeal. The learned advocate further submits that appeal filed before the appropriate authority may be directed to be decided within some time frame.

I am not inclined to issue direction to the appropriate authority to decide the appeal within some time frame. It is expected from the appropriate authority to decide the appeal within available time frame and in view of the fact that the fishing society is being deregistered, the authority may consider this aspect and dispose of the appeal as early as possible.
