The present petition has been filed to challenge the order dated 30th January 2017 passed by respondent no.3. 2.

After hearing both the parties, the learned AGP was directed to take instructions. Today he is tendering letter dated 05th February 2024 given by Education Officer (Secondary) Zilla Parishad, Latur, which is marked as Exhibit 'A', where he accepts certain facts regarding hearing, which was in pursuant to the order passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.11561/2016. He assures that the hearing would be given in respect of the proposals of the petitioners as per directions given by this Court.

In view of the said letter, the impugned order dated 30th January 2017 stands quashed and set aside. The matter is relegated to respondent no.3 to be decided on merits after giving hearing as well as in pursuant to the directions given by this Court as stated in the letter Exhibit 'A' above. Such decision be taken within a period of two months

The petitioners to appear before respondent no.3 on 12th February 2024.
