PER COURT:- 1.

The learned counsel submits that the application of the petitioner for correction of date of birth in the school record is rejected only on the ground that the petitioner has left the school. The said provision is directory.

Mr. Ghute, learned counsel accepts notice for respondent nos.3 and 4. The learned A.G.P. accepts notice for respondent nos.1 and 2.

The learned counsel submits that the correction has been made at the graduation level. 4.

Considering the above, the Education Officer shall consider the proposal with regard to the correction of date of birth on its own merits

(2) 73-wp-7940-2019 and shall not reject it on the ground that the petitioner has left the school. The same shall be considered preferably within one month.
