The petitioner seeks directions against the Scrutiny Committee to decide the validation proceedings, immediately. 2.

Issue notice to the respondents. Learned AGP waives service of notice for respondents.

We cannot encourage the lethargy on the part of the petitioner. The petitioner on 20th July, 2021 has submitted proposal for verification of his caste claim with the Committee. The petitioner in 11th Standard only, when he took admission in the Science stream, had the knowledge that he is exploring possibility of admission to the professional course, but for two years kept silent and did not file proposal for his verification of caste claim. It would be unreasonable to expect the Committee to

Considering that the petitioner is seeking admission to the professional course, the Committee, if it is possible for it, may endeavour to decide the validation proceedings by 30st September, 2021.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
