The proposal seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioners as Junior Clerks is rejected on the ground that there was a ban on recruitment.

The staffing pattern for Class-III has been approved under the Government Resolution dated 28.01.2019. The appointment of the petitioners is prior to the Government Resolution dated 04.05.2020. 3.

In the light of that, the impugned orders are quashed and set aside. The Education Officer shall reconsider the proposal seeking

2 1003-wp 8775-2021.odt approval to the appointment of the petitioners as Junior Clerks on its own merits, in accordance with law afresh and shall decide it expeditiously and preferably within a period of four (04) months from today.

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
