DATE : AUGUST 20, 2022 ORDER :- These applications have been filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The applicants have been arrested in connection with Crime No.0224 of 2022 registered with Chakur Police Station, Dist. Latur.

Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties.

The applicants are alleged to have committed theft of forest produce (sandalwood). On investigation, charge sheet has now been filed. The offence is triable by the Court of Judicial Magistrate, First Class. It appears that two of the applicants did not have criminal antecedents. Considering the nature of the offence and the fact that it will take time for commencement and conclusion of trial, the Court is inclined to grant the applicants bail. 4.

Hence, the following order:- (i) The applications are allowed.

(ii) The applicants be released in connection with Crime No.0224 of 2022 registered with Chakur Police Station, Dist. Latur, on executing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) each with one surety each in the like amount. (iii) The applicants shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence in any manner.

(iv) Until conclusion of the trial, the applicants shall attend the concerned police station once in a month, i.e. on last Sunday of each month by 12.00 noon.
