Petitioner

Versus

The Union of India and ors.

..

Respondents Mr V.B. Patil, Advocate for petitioner Mr M.N. Navandar, Advocate for respondents no.1 to 4 Mrs M.A. Deshpande, A.G.P. for respondent no.5 CORAM : R.M. BORDE AND A.M. DHAVALE, JJ.

DATE : 14th June 2018 PER COURT 1.

The relief claimed in the Public Interest Litigation is purely a matter within the executive domain of railway authorities. The prayer made by the petitioner for stalling the work of laying down the railway route from Ahmednagar-Beed-Parali Vaijanath also cannot be considered for the reason that major part of the work is already complete. There is absolutely no substance in the Public Interest Litigation, much less the relief claimed is for safeguarding public interest.

2.

Public Interest Litigation as such stands rejected. ( A.M. DHAVALE, J.) ( R.M. BORDE, J.) vvr
