The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the order of his transfer of Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal which was dismissed. The petitioner has moved an application to the Hon'ble Chief Minister cum Home Minister requesting him to post him as per the choices, he gave. The petitioner seeks direction against the Hon'ble Chief Minister to consider his request. He does not want to proceed with the matter.

We have heard the learned AGP for the Hon'ble Chief Minister cum Home Minister. Whether to post on the places where the petitioner is seeking is the sole discretion of the Hon'ble Chief Minister cum Home Minister. The pendency of this writ petition may be a impediment for considering his request. However, the petitioner does not want to proceed with the writ petition. Therefore, a request
