Petitioners claim to be belonging to Koli Mahadev and Mannervarlu, Scheduled Tribe respectively and are desirously of securing admission to Engineering Course as against the seats reserved for Scheduled Tribe category. Proposals for verification of tribe certificates issued in favour of petitioners have been tendered to the Scrutiny Committee on 27.02.2018 and 09.10.2017 and they are stated to be pending.

Considering the facts that petitioners have cleared CET examination, they are required to adhere to the admission schedule and tender tribe validation certificate before the cut off date. Considering the urgency as pointed out by petitioners, we direct the Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe certificate verification proposals of petitioners as expeditiously as possible, preferably before 1st August, 2018. Petitioners shall appear before the Scrutiny Committee on 19.07.2018 and as such, no separate notice requiring their presence before the Committee shall be necessary. Petitioners shall personally collect the report of Vigilance Cell from the office of the Scrutiny Committee. 3.

With the directions as above, both writ petitions stand disposed of.
