The petitioners have put forth prayer clause C & D as under :- "C. To direct the respondent Nos. 4 and 5 to pay compensation as per the law and rules framed thereunder and for that purpose issue necessary writs and orders.

D. To direct the respondent Nos. 6 and 7 to decide the application submitted by the petitioner dt. 14.03.2022 within one month and for that purpose issue necessary writs and orders." 2.

We have considered the submissions of the learned Advocate for the petitioners and the learned AGP. The petitioners submit that the representations are at page Nos. 55 to 61 dated 14.03.2022, which are khs/August 2022/8108

- 2 - addressed to the District Collector, can be considered within a time frame.

The issue is as regards compensation to be granted on account of the transformer, electricity poles, high tension and regular wires that have been erected in the agricultural field.

The learned AGP submits that a reasonable time may be granted. 5.

In view of the above, since an innocuous prayer is put forth, this petition is disposed off. Let respondent No.6 or any competent authority consider the grievance of these petitioners as voiced in the communication dated 14.03.2022, as expeditiously as possible and preferably on or before 10.11.2022.
