The learned Additional Government Pleader has placed on record the communication issued by the Registrar, Co-operative Societies to the Divisional Joint Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Aurangabad to the effect that enquiry is directed to be initiated against seven persons for abiding as per the provisions of the The Maharashtra Government Servants Regulation of Transfers and Prevention of Delay in Discharge of Official Duties Act, 2005. On receiving the proposal from the Divisional Joint

Considering the fact that the steps have been taken to initiate departmental proceedings against the erring officers, we expect, the respondent to take the departmental proceedings to its logical ends and conclude the same expeditiously. 3.
In case the respondent does not abide by the statement made in the communication placed on record, the petitioner will have the right to initiate fresh action.

In the view of above, Contempt Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
