Heard the learned Advocate for the Applicant and the learned APP for the State. Perused the papers. 2.

Crime bearing No. 0577 of 2025 came to be registered with Rahuri Police Station, District Ahilyanagar, for offences punishable under Sections 109, 118(1), 115(2), 352, 351(2), 189(2), 191(2), 191(3) and 190 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, against the Applicant and the Co-accused. Apprehending arrest in the said Crime, the Applicant has filed the present Application seeking grant of Anticipatory Bail. 3.

The case of the Prosecution is that, on account of response to the post shared on the Instagram account by Akshay Jadhav and Aniket Gite, who are the friends of the Informant, the FIR-named accused assaulted the Informant by deadly weapons. The role attributed

2 935ABA1092.2025.odt to the Applicant in the FIR is an assault by legs and fist blows. No role of assault by any weapon is attributed to the Applicant. Some of the Co-accused have been arrested and recovery is also effected. Considering the role attributed to the Applicant, I am inclined to protect the Applicant. Hence, the following order is passed: -

ORDER

[i] The Application is allowed.

[ii] In the event of arrest of the Applicant, namely, Vikas s/o Sanjay Mokal, in connection with Crime bearing No. 0577 of 2025 registered with Rahuri Police Station, District Ahilyanagar, for offences punishable under Sections 109, 118(1), 115(2), 352, 351(2), 189(2), 191(2), 191(3) and 190 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, he be released on bail on his furnishing P.B. of Rs. 15,000/- [Rupees Fifteen Thousand] with one surety in the like amount. [iii] The Applicant shall cooperate with the Investigating Agency as and when required.

[iv] The Applicant shall attend the Rahuri Police Station, District Ahilyanagar, on last Friday of each month, between 11:00 am to 02:00 pm, till the Charge-sheet is filed. [NEERAJ P.
